Fees & scheduling.

Fees are posted below in USD, with VND equivalents for clinic appointments. We do not bill insurance directly, but provide itemised receipts suitable for submission to international insurance carriers. Payment is collected at the time of service.

Fees are listed in USD with VND equivalents, for both in-person and telehealth visits.

Standard 50 min · follow-up, medication management & straightforward new presentations $190 / 5,000,000 VND USD · VND
Extended 90 min · complex presentations, or appointments involving both child & parent $304 / 8,000,000 VND USD · VND
In-person: Appointments take place at Westlake Institute, D4-1, Khu Đô Thị Ciputra, Phú Thượng, Hà Nội. Pre-launch, in-person scheduling is limited and by arrangement only.
Telehealth: Held via secure video for patients located in Vietnam, and self-schedulable online.
Rate increase effective 1 January 2027: Standard will be $200 / 5,300,000 VND, and Extended will be $320 / 8,500,000 VND.

California

California telehealth

Dr. Allison is licensed in California (No. A118576) and offers telehealth appointments for patients located there. Fees are in USD.

Standard 50 min · follow-up, medication management & straightforward new presentations $450 USD
Extended 90 min · complex presentations, or appointments involving both child & parent $650 USD
Patients located in Vietnam or outside the United States should book the Vietnam or International appointment type instead.

International

International expert opinion

For patients located outside Vietnam and California seeking a specialist opinion, second opinion, or consultation. Fees are in USD.

Standard 50 min · follow-up & straightforward presentations $350 USD
Extended 90 min · complex presentations, or appointments involving both child & parent $500 USD
This is an independent expert opinion. Dr. Allison is not licensed in your jurisdiction, is not your treating physician, and cannot prescribe medications or respond to psychiatric emergencies through this service — please ensure you have access to a local physician and local emergency services. Patients located in Vietnam or California should book the appropriate appointment type instead.

Hospital visits & house calls

These services are arranged by contact rather than booked online. Where clinically appropriate, teleconsultation may be a more accessible and affordable alternative.

Hospital consultation: Independent specialist psychiatric consultation at hospitals and medical facilities in Hà Nội. May be requested by a treating team, embassy staff, the patient, or family, and is billed separately from hospital charges.
House call: In-home psychiatric consultation for patients unable to attend the clinic, available within Hà Nội.

Cancellation Policy

Appointments & cancellations

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. A valid credit card is required to hold all appointments.

All Appointments 24 hours notice required to cancel or reschedule 24 hrs
Late cancellations and missed appointments are subject to a cancellation fee — there are no exceptions. Please arrive a few minutes early; appointments begin and end at their scheduled time. Arrivals more than 20 minutes late will be asked to reschedule.

Insurance & Reimbursement

Insurance & superbills

We do not bill insurance directly. Upon request we provide an itemised receipt (superbill) suitable for international insurance reimbursement.

The superbill contains all information required by international insurance carriers for direct reimbursement claims, including diagnosis codes, procedure codes, and provider credentials. We recommend contacting your insurer before your first appointment to confirm your out-of-network psychiatric benefits.
Self-pay: Fees reflect a self-pay discount.

Existing patients

If you have previously seen Dr. Allison and wish to continue care, you're welcome to book directly online, or write to us directly so we are aware of your timeline and near-term needs.
